Terms of Use

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Use ("Agreement") govern the use of the e-IBAN.com website (www.e-iban.com) and all related services ("Services"). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these terms.

This Agreement has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, the Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the Law on Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563, and other relevant legislation.

2. Definitions

As used in this Agreement:

• "e-IBAN.com" or "We": The business providing IBAN verification services through the www.e-iban.com domain name,
• "User" or "You": Real or legal persons visiting our website and/or using our services,
• "Member": Users who have created a membership account by registering on our website,
• "Service": IBAN verification, bank information inquiry, and all related digital services,
• "API": Application Programming Interface service,
• "Package": Paid membership plans that include specific usage rights.
• "Free Trial": A 7-day free membership period with limited query rights that does not require a credit card,
• "Infinite Link Technology": A feature that allows members to share their IBAN information through a unique link in a privacy-preserving manner,
• "PaymentID": A unique reference code created for automatic matching of EFT/wire transfer payments,
• "Prorate Discount": A proportional discount applied during package upgrades based on the remaining period and unused query rights of the current package,
• "e-Archive Invoice": An electronic invoice issued in accordance with Tax Procedure Law No. 213 and sent via email.

3. Our Services

e-IBAN.com offers the following services:

• IBAN (International Bank Account Number) format validation
• Bank and branch information query from IBAN
• Single and bulk IBAN queries
• IBAN saving and management
• IBAN validation services via API
• Exporting query results in Excel format
• Creating IBAN sharing links via e-IBAN Infinite Link Technology

3.1. Scope of Services

Our services cover the technical format validation of IBAN numbers and the provision of related bank information. Our services:

• Do not verify whether a bank account is active
• Do not provide account balance or account holder information
• Do not provide financial advisory or banking services
• Do not perform money transfers or payment transactions

3.2. Service Continuity

While we make every effort to provide our services continuously and without error, service interruptions may occur due to technical maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.

3.3. e-IBAN Infinite Link Technology

e-IBAN.com offers "Infinite Link Technology" that allows members to share their IBAN information securely and privately:

• IBAN verification results are displayed through the shared link; the IBAN number itself is not directly shared
• The link recipient can always see up-to-date bank and branch information
• Personal information of the account holder (name, surname, balance, etc.) is never shared through the link
• Links are valid indefinitely and automatically reflect updated bank data as it changes
• Infinite link quotas vary depending on the purchased package (2 links for basic packages, higher for premium packages)

4. Membership and Account

4.1. Membership Conditions

For membership:

• You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of your legal representative
• You must provide a valid and active email address
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Each user may only open one account

4.2. Account Security

You are solely responsible for the security of your account:

• Keep your password confidential and do not share it with anyone
• Use a strong password (at least 8 characters, upper/lower case letters, numbers, and special characters)
• We recommend keeping two-factor authentication (2FA) active
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

4.3. Corporate Membership

For memberships made on behalf of legal entities, the person who registers the membership is deemed to be authorized to represent and bind the company. The company name, tax office, and tax number must be correctly specified in the billing information.

4.4. Free Trial Terms

e-IBAN.com offers a 7 (seven) day free trial period to new users:

• No credit card or payment information is required for the free trial
• Limited single IBAN queries can be made per day during the trial period
• Bulk queries are limited during the trial period
• The free trial cannot be used more than once with the same email address
• Service access automatically ends when the trial period expires
• Query rights used during the trial period are not refunded or applied as a discount when upgrading to a paid package
• The free trial is offered separately for both WEB and API membership types

5. Payment Terms

5.1. Pricing

Our package prices are displayed on our website in Turkish Lira (TL). Prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices; however, changes do not affect existing subscriptions. Current prices apply at the end of the subscription period.

5.2. Payment Methods

You can make your payments through the following methods:

• Credit Card / Debit Card: Via secure payment infrastructure (3D Secure) 24/7
• Bank Transfer / EFT: To Türkiye Garanti Bankası A.Ş. Özgürlük Bulvarı Branch account; automatic activation system is available

5.3. Invoice

An e-Archive invoice compliant with Tax Procedure Law No. 213 is issued for all payments.

5.4. Refund Policy

For detailed information on refund conditions, right of withdrawal usage, and the refund process, please refer to the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Pursuant to Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content sales once the service has been used.

5.5. Subscription Renewal

When your subscription period expires:

• Your subscription is not automatically renewed; service access ends
• You must purchase a new package to continue accessing the services
• A reminder email is sent 7 (seven) days before expiration
• Your account and data are preserved as inactive for 12 (twelve) months after expiration
• After the 12-month inactive period, your account and data may be permanently deleted

5.6. Package Upgrade and Prorate Discount

You may upgrade your current package to a higher-tier package:

• When upgrading, a "prorate discount" is applied based on the remaining period and unused query rights of your current package
• The prorate discount rate is automatically calculated based on remaining days and/or unused query rights
• Downgrading from a higher package to a lower package is not possible
• Upgrades take effect immediately and new package rights become active right away
• The prorate discount amount is deducted from the new package price to determine the payable amount

6. Usage Rules

6.1. Accepted Use

You may only use our services for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms:

• For your own commercial or personal IBAN verification needs
• To verify your customers' IBAN information
• For API integration into your software and applications

6.2. Prohibited Uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

• Using our Services for illegal activities
• Attempting unauthorized access to our systems
• Organizing DDoS, brute force, or similar attacks
• Performing automated data scraping (except via API)
• Sharing API keys with unauthorized persons
• Reselling or sublicensing our Services (without written permission)
• Uploading viruses or malicious software that could damage our systems
• Preventing other users from accessing the Services

7. API Terms of Use

7.1. API Access

Our API services are available to members who purchase a paid package. Each API key is unique to a single membership and is non-transferable.

7.2. Usage Limits

Your API usage is subject to query limits determined by the package you purchase. If you exceed the limit, you can upgrade your package.

7.3. IP Restriction

For security purposes, your API key is restricted to the first 3 IP addresses it is used on. Please contact our support team for access from different IP addresses.

7.4. Rate Limit

To ensure the healthy operation of our systems, your API requests are subject to a rate limit. Temporary access restrictions may be applied in case of excessive request volume.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The e-IBAN.com website, logo, design, software, content, and database are protected under the Intellectual and Artistic Works Law No. 5846.

• All rights reserved and belong to e-IBAN.com
• Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited
• Membership does not imply the transfer of intellectual property rights
• API usage is limited to the specified purposes only

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our services
• We are not liable for the actions of third-party services (payment systems, banks, etc.)
• We are not liable for issues arising from user error or incorrect data entry
• We are not liable for force majeure events (natural disasters, war, cyber attacks, etc.)

Our liability is limited to the total amount you paid us in the last 12 months, in any case.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is." No warranties, express or implied, are made:

• Services are not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free
• Fitness for a particular purpose is not guaranteed
• Bank details are not guaranteed to be 100% up-to-date and accurate
• Compatibility with third-party systems is not guaranteed

IBAN verification results are for informational purposes only. We recommend that you confirm with your bank for critical financial transactions.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

11.1. Termination by User

You may close your account at any time. Please submit your account closure request to [email protected]. No refunds will be made for unused query rights.

11.2. Termination by e-IBAN.com

We may suspend or terminate your account in the following circumstances:

• Violation of the terms of use
• Suspicion of illegal activity
• Failure to meet payment obligations
• Account inactivity for more than 12 months
• Expiration of the subscription period without renewal and completion of the 12-month inactive period

11.3. After Termination

In the event of account termination:

• Your access to the services will be immediately terminated
• Your registered data will be deleted at the end of the legal retention periods
• Any outstanding debts will be collected

11.4. Termination and Data Deletion

The fate of your data following account termination or expiration:

• Data is retained until legal retention periods (Tax Procedure Law, Turkish Commercial Code, Law No. 5651) expire
• Once retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or anonymized
• You may submit a data deletion request under KVKK to [email protected]

12. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes:

• Will be announced by posting on our website
• Will be notified to your registered email address
• Will take effect 15 days after the date of change

Your continued use of our services after changes means you accept the new terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

In case of a dispute:

• Amicable solutions will be sought first
• For consumer transactions, the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts where the transaction took place or where the consumer resides have jurisdiction
• For commercial transactions, the Antalya Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction

Your messages will be responded to within 48 hours. KVKK applications will be finalized within 30 days.
